Have a Heart, I Demand A Little More Space.
This is another brainless design that took no effort of quality improvement and efficiency.
As you can see from this picture, both the toilet bowls are facing the same grid around 1 square feet. The standing space is very limited. It's almost impossible that 2 guys standing at the same grid competing each other while taking a leak, especially in the eastern culture.
The Combination Of Garden And Car Park
This is a new series of feature on www.gotopenang.com. If you have any special pic you wanna share, please email it to max @ gotopenang.com. Please state the title as "Things you don't see in Penang everyday". -- Max
With the value of land increasing everyday, it has become a luxury to own your own garden in Penang Island.
But don't give up just yet. If you're stuck, try to think out of a box. This house owner designed a lawn in the middle of his/her car park.
Koh Tsu Koon Bicycle Madness
It's all started by Kwongwah newspaper advertisement showing appreciation to the 1Malaysia Bicycle Ride on 25 September 2011 which was held in Straits Quay Penang. The original picture was posted on the headline on the same day.
But the advertisement picture inside the same newspaper was showing Koh Tsu Koon riding next to the Najib, which is the Prime Minister of Malaysia. But the fact is: Koh Tsu Koon was never in the picture. The detriment picture was enhanced by an image editing tool such as Photoshop, showing Kok Tsu Koon there like a miracle.

Street Protest Against Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng. Led By Mohn Ghani.
There was a protest led by Mogn Ghani against Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng had caused severe traffic chaos in Penang Island on the 1st of July 2011.
This group of people rallied at Komtar at first. Then they marched from Komtar to Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling. During the march, they occupied both lanes causing the traffic halted until the march had passed.
Latter in the afternoon around 4pm, they even blocked 2 lanes on Penang bridge toward the direction to Prai. Since it was friday and office take-off hours, many vehicles had been trapped in the traffic for hours.
ONLY ONE JPJ Police was sent to the Penang Bridge for the crowd control.
Western Food
The Satay Chicken Chop is something very special which you can't get from any other western food stalls. It's marinated with turmeric(黄姜) and served with grill. At first I thought it was served with traditional satay sauce, but it was not. By eating the plain turmeric chicken thigh emphasizes the taste of turmeric and chicken.
Pork-Chic Lasagne is another dish that worths mentioning. Too bad we finished it so fast without having time to take pics.
This western food stall locates in a sea of shops that it's quite hard to clearly been from outside. It's at the exact T-junction of Lebuhraya Codrington and Burma Road in Pulau Tikus.
